At Gourmet Food Parlour, we have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic, experienced front of house staff members to join our team in our Dunshaughlin Restaurant.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and who’s ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Proven work experience working as floor staff. Minimum 1 year experience.

Experience working as waiting staff in a front of house environment.

Excellent customer service skills, knowledge of upselling.

Good food knowledge, allergen training, menu knowledge.

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar /waitress stations organized, stocked and clean

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings

Be able to recommend options based on a customers preferences

Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner

Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures

Observe relevant health and safety standards

Clean bar/ floor and all equipment and reset and restock up for the next shift as necessary.

Barista skills would be highly beneficial but not essential
