Gourmet Food Parlour has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and experienced Production chef to join our new production kitchen in Swords. The individual should be trained to chef de partie level or similar, have good organizational skills and be well able to work in a team or by their own initiative to get tasks done.

This is a great opportunity for innovative individuals to bring forward their experience and skills and shine through the food and service they present. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

The ideal candidate must

  • Have a minimum 2 years' experience in a busy kitchen
  • Experience in catering /production would be a plus.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be interested in latest food trends and enjoy creating new dishes
  • ·Pay attention to detail and have great presentation skills
  • ·Be able to run own section and work to order and coordinate with timings
  • Prepare food to standard recipes
  •  Available to perform many different tasks within the kitchen during each shift as required.


Requirements

  • HACCP trained to level 2 minimum
  • Have 2 years experience in a kitchen to a chef de partie level or similar
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality food products, meeting HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
  • Comply with a strict dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
